Things We Love About This House Is Not for Sale.

  • This House Is Not For Sale is the embodiment of Bon Jovi’s musicianship/songwriting craft and easily takes its place alongside classic hits such as “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “It’s My Life”.
  • The lyrics are heartfelt and emphasize Jon Bon Jovi’s always engaging, passionate vocals which have developed a worldly rasp that gives his prose the weight it requires to deliver the deeper message of the song.
  • Jon’s band mates kick in the right balance of rock during the chorus, and the harmonies are fueled by an undeniably catchy guitar riff.
  • The video features the entire band, including rarely-seen-on-video Hugh McDonald, and for the first time the band’s new lead guitarist, Phil X (who has toured with the band in 2011 and 2013).
  • The song in its entirety touches on themes of standing by your principles and refusing to give up in the face of adversity.
  • This House Is Not For Sale exhibits the familiar melodic flare that has become Bon Jovi’s trademark over the decades.
  • The House… The concept for the house was taken from a black and white photo, by Jerry Uelsmann. The artist combined a picture of an old house, with strong roots. The picture haunted Jon Bon Jovi for a while and wouldn’t get out of his head. It is featured at the end of the video and serves as the cover art for the new album. “This photo paints our picture, and so it became our album cover.” – Jon Bon Jovi
  • The song cements Bon Jovi’s place among global rock royalty, once again.

The album is set for release via Island Records on October 21, 2016, and is currently available for pre-order on Bon Jovi’s Official Website, iTunes, Google Play Music and Amazon.
