During the Q & A segment of the Runaway Tours acoustic, storyteller show in Austin, Texas (April 30, 2016), Jon Bon Jovi confirmed that “This House Is Not For Sale” will be released in September. The title of the first single is, “God Bless This Mess” and will be released for radio airplay in July.
Jon also answered questions regarding the new Bon Jovi album and tour at a previous Runaway Tour show in Nashville, Tennessee on March 19, 2016.

“The record is done. The record is just being mixed now. I’m ecstatic with with it. If for nothing else, out of pain come great songs. And I’m really, really, really really happy with the record. I think we’ve got a fantastic representation of who we are at this time. So, the intention is to get it out this fall (September/October) – sooner rather than later because its been sitting on my computer forever, but we’re really pleased with it.”

Jon also stated that the band hopes to follow the album’s release with a tour in 2017.

“And then the hope is that we go out early next year. That’s the hope. That’s the hope. February-ish right now. Don’t hold me to it. I don’t want to read on the internet ‘Jon said February’. I think it just depends on everyone’s health and well-being at that time.
But yeah, the record is fantastic, and its still definitely called ‘This House Is Not For Sale’ and its definitely… I’m really proud of it. It’s all about our integrity.”

Initial reports stated that “This House Is Not For Sale” was scheduled for a March 2016 release. Although no official reason has been given for the delay, it could be due to renewed negotiations with Bon Jovi’s former record label.
Fans in attendance at the show in Nashville have said that Jon Bon Jovi confirmed the band’s return to long-time label Mercury/Island Records (under Universal Music Group), stating that they [the label] have “sobered up” and that he’s “back home”.
